There are some fans on a GoT related group on facebook right now, and they literally spent hundreds of comments and thousands of words arguing (and they keep going on!) on whether referring to Dany as simply ‘Khaleesi’ is disrespecting the character or not.

This is silly, this whole fandom is silly.

..It’s just a title. If you refer to it as such - then we’d have to refer to Stannis, Robb, Balon, Renly, Robert, etc as just “Your Highness” or “the King.” Khaleesi is just a apart of a band of Dorthraki. If you were to give some more information - then Dany could be identified.

For example - Robb is the King in the North, the Young Wolf.

Joffrey is the King on the Iron Throne

Balon is the King of the Iron Isles, etc

Not disrespectful, just ignoring the entire character. And the fact she isn’t Khalessi anymore. Her Khal is gone. Her Dorthaki horde is gone.

But the whole point is that it doesn’t matter at all, it’s not something to waste hours of your own free time trying to convince others of. And this fandom is silly for insisting on arguing about things that are just so trivial.
